The Order of Clear Mind Zen

 

Welcome! 

The Order of Clear Mind Zen is a Zen Buddhist Order in the lineage of Rev. Dr. Soyu Matsuoka-roshi, the first Sōtō Zen Master to establish the practice of Zen in the United States.

We are an Engaged Zen Buddhist training and practice Order. We practice both in our Zendo and without walls in public spaces. We welcome inquiries regarding our Order and invite you to join us.

Clear Mind Zen is strongly influenced by the Zen Buddhist teaching and practice of Zen Master Dōgen, the 13th century Founder of our Sect.
